Each topic below will be expanded with action teams as we grow. America is hungry for an honorable society and by stepping back from politics and focusing on what is right regardless of party, this movement will give you a return on your contribution investment and membership. Belonging to this movement will be satisfying.

There is so much political noise coming at us from all sides that it is impossible to hear.
If our Representatives were doing their job, so many forces would not be trying to go around them directly to us. The whole point of Leadership by this Conservative Movement is that principles are the path to simplicity and simplicity is the path to understanding. Principles will make government smaller and cheaper as well.

Until the sixties, America was Conservative but the Vietnam War shattered America and laid bare our faith in government and our institutions. Rebellion became the new cause celeb and rebellion of any kind took on cache.

Unfortunately, rebellion became a Trojan horse for the enemies of the USA as Che was offered as the symbol of freedom instead of rebelling for a better America as founded by Washington and Adams. Had this Conservative Movement been in place in the sixties, we would have made sure George tee shirts out sold Che tee shirts.

Today, that rebellion has come to maturity and America is seriously divided in a new Civil War so we ask all Americans to look at Cuba. Che gave the call for the Cuban people to throw out their oppressive USA backed government and follow him and Castro to freedom. If our education system today taught about the real America, we would not have to ask you how believing in the Left instead of themselves worked out for the Cubans. And what kind of stupid do you have to be to point to their health care system and say that makes it ok?

So people, do you really want to give America to the left without looking one more time at how it has worked out for all the others who have? He who would trade freedom for security gets neither. (Franklin, notChe)

Empowering Everyone
One party stands for “give a man a fish, he eats for a day; give him a cow and he will eat for months and vote for you.” Most people know the other party stands for “teach him to fish and he will eat forever.” This is called empowering people.

Two thirds of America say they believe in a God and we believe the same is true for what we are calling Conservative principles. This Conservative Movement will show that “we the people” have the power to create both the country and the world we want and that is the leadership we offer – lifting everyone up, especially “the little guy,” with principles.

Reducing Poverty
Trillions have been spent on the Great Society and the New Deal and poverty is still here. This Conservative Movement is going to provide the leadership to harness the effort and brainpower required to end poverty by matching people with opportunity. This takes some work of course but the examples to follow exist. We also know that using illegal immigration as the answer to labor shortages before every citizen who wants to work has a job is not part of the solution. The answer is in the application of our principles.

Charity
The people of America give billions to non-profit enterprises in the business of doing good work. This is the Conservative Movement at its best and we know members of all parties give.

The Left would have you believe only the government can do good work and that the Conservatives are evil for working so hard to prevent their attempts to expand this role of government. If our education system today taught about the real America, people would know that the Left seeks dependants, not free people. (That Cuba thing again)

This Conservative Movement will make sure that people in need will be cared for by other caring Americans from their heart. This is easy because it is already being done.

Religion
People say God does not appear in our Constitution but it is signed “In The year of Our Lord…” The First Amendment says Congress shall pass no law interfering with the free exercise of Religion. Separation of Church and State is the phrase that does not appear in our Constitution.

Religion is the embodiment of good will, it is the embodiment of our morality as a society and it is the symbol of the existence of something bigger than ourselves. It is the very essence of a free society and these are the reasons this Conservative Movement embraces religion and its good work.

Every time someone says “Congress shall pass no law effecting the establishment of religion,” one of our members must say in response “nor interfere with the free exercise there of.” Always insist on the complete phrase!

If our education system today taught about the real America, people would know that suppressing religion is a requirement for a totalitarian society to control people’s lives and no totalitarian society has ever worked for its people. By definition, an atheist cannot fear God and yet they fear the belief in God. We as a society have no obligation to mitigate this fear.

This Conservative Movement will show how principles make it easy to draw the line between religion as a concept for good and the beliefs of a specific religion dominating policy. The good news is, most religious concepts have a secular equivalent so we can debate the issues on merit and not faith and still satisfy those of faith.

Even the eight hundred pound gorilla – Pro-Life – should be debated on the principle that protecting life is the highest form of humanity and those societies that believe this thrive and those that do not fail. Period.
